About RavenWindow:

RavenWindow is a fast growing dynamic glass company. The RavenWindow team has a whatever it takes attitude and is seeking a candidate with similar values, commitment, and work ethic. The territory manager will represent RavenWindow in a specified region to create business opportunities, increase market share and close deals. Market segments include but are not limited to commercial office, higher education and K-12 education, health care, government and municipal buildings, and multi-family housing projects.

Since 2006, RavenWindow has focused on creating the next generation of smart windows incorporating solar-intuitive transitioning technology. Our technology staff created, patented, and now manufactures RavenWindow in our 55,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Denver, Colorado. Our line supports a steadily increasing demand for RavenWindow across North America. A cost-effective smart window that improves occupant comfort and productivity while eliminating UV degradation and solar heat gain. Without disrupting connection to the outdoors or altering contractor best practice installation processes no matter what the season.

Territory Manager

Supervisor Title:

Sales Manager

Objectives in This Position:

RavenWindow is in need of an experienced, tenacious and well-organized Territory Manager to handle day-to-day sales and marketing activities within the region. This position will include full benefits after a 30-day probationary period.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solicit opportunities and bring to a close
  • Read construction documents to determine correct opportunity to pursue
  • Perform product presentations to designers, architects, contractors, and end users
  • Maintain detailed call reports, market intel, and customer feedback
  • Advise appropriate sales personnel of new project or service related opportunities
  • Identify and develop long-term relationships with commercial architects and contractors in specified regions
  • Development and execution of a territory sales plan

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Understands and demonstrates an ability to close a deal
  • Expect a very aggressive, self-motivated person with a demonstrable track record of winning
  • Dynamic, ambitious, looking for a position of high impact
  • Ability to position a new product in a new or existing market
  • Ability to sell value
  • Ability to differentiate oneself from other individuals
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and situations that require immediate attention
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with commercial construction / real estate / architectural specification is required
  • 10 years solution selling experience
  • Ability to sell in long sales cycle environments
  • Ability to build long term relationships with customers
  • Technology savvy
  • Bachelors degree preferred

Job Title:

Technical Specialist

Objectives in This Position:

RavenWindow desires an experienced Technical Specialist to design, develop and specify raw materials and perform related evaluation of specialized thermochromic filters utilized in fenestration. This position will include full benefits after a 30-day probationary period.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new products, materials and/or processes
  • Evaluate materials and processes, and offer precise, timely and technically verified recommendations
  • Expand business knowledge base for state-of-the-art materials and technology
  • Communicate findings to RavenWindow decision makers.
  • Establish and adhere to proven test standards and methodologies and develop procedures.
  • Work with key material suppliers to obtain appropriate pre-approval utilization metrics.
  • Manage projects until completion.
  • Communicate accurately, effectively and efficiently.
  • Work with technical personnel to maintain equipment calibration and to ensure function.
  • Review and approve test data from any technician(s) and 3rd party laboratories.
  • Communicate results clearly and concisely.
  • A technical expert on materials choices, product performance and design considerations.
  • Assist the business in surpassing its fiscal and reliability goals.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline.
  • Chemical, Polymer, Coating and/or Adhesive specialization preferred.
  • Masters of Science degree and/or PhD additionally preferred.
  • Applied experience within optical or fenestration products, materials testing and a R&D environment a plus.
  • Knowledge of appropriate software tools, analytical equipment, experimental design and project management.
  • Excellence in technical writing and verbal communication.
